Tracing Coins Activity-A Fun Activity for Lower Elementary

Never imagined that my third year students would be amaze by this simple activity😉

When I showed them a video about how to do the tracing coins activity, one of my girls even asked me wether it would work or not. It looked like a magic for them😱

The things that you need to do this activity are:

-Some coins (it will be more fun if you use coins with different values)

-A pencil and colour pencils

-Papers

-An eraser

Not only doing tracing, in this activity they also learned the values of coins of our country, Indonesia. They had to write the name of each coin below the picture of the coin. 

Then, I also challenged them to draw something through the tracing coin activity. I was inspired by a highlight of a video that I saw on youtube. I will try to find the link soon😉

This challenge will be good to explore their creativity. They can draw a flower, a tree, or even a car. It must be so fun😆
